  • Individual acts only.
  • Contestants are allowed to use their own CD. All music must be in original song format: Personal or professional remixes are not permitted. All music provided by a contestant must be on a disc. Jump Drives, Phones, IPods, or other devices are not permitted. Music purchased online must be downloaded onto a CD. Have the proof of purchase with you and available to be viewed. Replicated CD’s or illegally purchased or obtained CD’s or music will not be allowed at any level of competition within the contest. Any legal or financial responsibilities accrued from the use of replicated CD’s or illegally purchased music while conducting the contest is the responsibility of the Karaoke Company, it’s employees & the people competing in the contest. There is no responsibility to Kick’n Up Kountry / Kick’n Up Kountry’s Karaoke contest and shall be held harmless in this matter.
  • Monitors with words are allowed.
  • Participants may try to qualify as many times as they wish at any of the participating establishments, but once you have qualified at a participating establishment you must finish the contest at that location. If you do not advance to the Semi-Final you may try again at another location.
  • Karaoke DJs can only qualify outside their establishment.
  • This is an amateur competition. You are considered an amateur if you are not under a recording contract.
  • If a contestant arrives to compete after the warm up songs have been completed that contestant cannot compete that night.
  • Contestants are permitted to sing the same song as previous contestants and may sing the same song only once per event.
  • Weekly judges are to be selected by the Host Venue if possible. Kuk staff will assist in this matter.
  • Ties will result in a 2nd round “sing off” (different song) and will be re-scored by the judges.
  • Your individual scores are available for viewing upon request for a period of 30 minutes after the contest is over. (Excluding State and Grand Final levels)
  • Failure to comply with all "Rules and Regulations" may result in disqualification.
  • All types and kinds of music are allowed. (Country, Rock, Blues, etc.)
  • Talking to and any contact with the judges is discouraged and harassment is grounds for disqualification from the contest Harrassment or threatening any of the judges by the contestant or any family member is grounds for disqualification.Final decision to be made by the staff of Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc.
  • You may not change your song after the sign-ups are closed.
  • Proper behavior is expected. Improper behavior will result in disqualification. Improper behavior includes: intoxication, poor sportsmanship, bad manners, or lack of decorum.
  • Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. is only responsible for prize packages provided entirely by Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc.
  • Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. reserves the right to exclude any person or persons from the contest at any time, for any reason.
  • You must be 21 years or older to enter. Anyone under 21 may compete in the Little Kicker Contest.
  • Proper dress is expected and only makes the contest and the contestant more appealing to watch.
  • There will only be a 4 week competition offered, but the establishment may elect to offer more than one 4 week competition. ( host site may hold more than one competition)
  • Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. is not responsible for any injuries or problems occurring during the contests.
  • The bars are allowed to add any prizes they wish to the prizes provided by Kick’n Up Kountry, Inc. Three winners will be selected during each of the qualifying weeks. 1st place winner will receive a 4 day General Admission ticket to Kuk.1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will move onto the finals at the bar on the bars 4th week .All of the tickets will be awarded at each locations bar final. You must return to the bar final where you qualified to receive the ticket you have won.
  • Final week:(4th week:) There will be 9 contestants and the top 5 will receive a Daily General Ticket to Kick’n Up Kountry and move onto the semi finals at a location to be determined.
  • Semi final winners will move onto the Grand Final at a location yet to be determined.
  • 1st Place winner of the Grand Final will receive: $500.00 and an autographed guitar.
  • 2nd Place winner of the Grand Final will receive: $300.00 and an autographed guitar.
  • 3rd Place winner of the Grand Final will receive: $200.00 and an autographed guitar.
  • The number of Semi Final winners will be determined once a final count of bars that are competing is determined. It will be determined at that time how many contestants will move onto the Grand Finals.
  • Once a contestant has won 1st place in the Grand Final and had their own 20 minute show that contestant can no longer compete at any level.
