We have been working with the government officials and agencies hoping that Kick’n Up Kountry could be part of the healing process of the Corona Crisis, but it just got to be too many questions of when social gatherings will be able to take place, let alone the additional logistics required would be too overwhelming.

Therefore, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Kick’n Up Kountry Music Festival has had to make a very difficult decision. After much thought and discussion, we have decided it is more important for you, our patrons, artists, sponsors and staff to reschedule Kick’n Up Kountry 2020 to June 16-19, 2021 to keep everyone safe during this dangerous time. It is with much regret, but we realize people have to make or change plans, so that is why we have come to this conclusion now and are hopeful everyone will be understanding in these uncertain times. If you had tickets purchased for the 2020 festival, 2021 replacement tickets will be sent to you in the coming weeks.

We are very proud to be able to announce that we will be bringing all of the same artists back in 2021 for your pleasure. All of the artists have been very gracious and understanding and have agreed to rebook for 2021! The lineup will be Dwight Yoakam, Chase Rice, BlackHawk, Matt Stell, Johnny Holm Band, Hairball, Ron Keel Band, Rage N Country, Whiskey Johnson, Kissing Company, Empty Cooler Band, Dan Holt, Kenny Christie, a Dolly Parton Look-a-like Contest, and Sean Wallin with a tribute to Elvis. The schedule will also include the Baja Races and the AdventureWorld train tours hosted by train engineer, Glen Brazier. It will be Kick’n Up Kountry’s 18th year and the 10th anniversary at Wagon Wheel Ridge, Karlstad, MN. By combining 20/21 it is sure to be our biggest and best year ever.
